LifePath

“Looking for something to change?

Salem Alliance Church’s LifePath ministry offers tools and strategies for dealing with life’s challenges. LifePath offers safe community to learn and practice new skills in dealing with building safe relationships and breaking unhealthy habits, as well as healing from patterns of sin and areas of hurt and brokenness.

If you feel stuck, discouraged or just plain frustrated – consider joining a group! Groups meet an hour a week for 8 weeks and have guidelines and agreements in place to keep groups confidential and safe. Registration for winter groups opens on December 6th. Registration costs $20—but Student Life is willing to cover that fee for the first five interested students!

Follow this link for more information and to register online: http://www.salemalliance.org/connect/RecoveryLifePath/up-coming-groups

The path to growth and healing is much easier when traveled together! It may seem overwhelming at first, but you will not be alone!”

FINANCIAL SERVICES

If you have an unpaid balance for Fall 2015, or have Financial Aid documents outstanding, a registration HOLD is currently on your account preventing you from registering for Spring 2016.

Please get in touch with the Financial Services Office regarding your plan for this balance, so they can clear the HOLD and allow you to register for classes before you head home for Thanksgiving.

  • If you have questions regarding your balance, visit https://sis.corban.edu to access your Student Tuition Account. You can also reach Financial Services at (503)375-7030 or financialservices@corban.edu.
  • If you do not see your Financial Aid reflected on your account, you may have documents missing.  Stop by Financial Services and a Financial Aid counselor will walk you through the steps you need to complete.  You can contact the Financial Aid Office at (503)375-7006 or financialaid@corban.edu if you need to arrange for Additional outside loans.

Financial Services is open Monday through Friday, between 9:00 and 4:00 on the first floor of Schimmel.  Please stop by so they can assist you.

FROM THE CENTER FOR GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT

We are thankful to the Corban community for welcoming Andrew Pace, Rick Anderson, and Jonathan Stone from Lima, Peru.  The Peru team met with a number of faculty and staff to develop a framework for collaboration and hosted a Peru Festival to connect with Corban Education majors interested in teaching abroad.
