Financial Aid: Featured Private Scholarship:

SeniorAdvisor.com: Future of Assisted Living Scholarship

Three $2,000 scholarships available to students enrolled in an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. Each eligible student must submit a 500-750 word essay response to the question: How can your major of study improve the lives of seniors in assisted living facilities in your town? Deadline is December 31, 2016. Scholarship award recipients will be announced January 31, 2017.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENT DEADLINE APPROACHING:
Final College Transcripts and Reach Requirements Due: April 1, 2016.
Graduating Seniors, if you have taken classes from another college or university and you have not submitted final transcripts to Corban, they must be received in the Registrar’s Office by April 1st. All Reach requirements must be completed at the same time. If this isn’t completed, it can prevent you from being able to participate in our graduation ceremony.

GRADUATION APPLICATIONS 2017 READY FOR PICK UP:
If you are planning on graduating in December of 2016 or May 2017, stop by the Registrar’s Office TODAY to pick up your graduation application. Completed applications and graduation fee are due in the Registrar’s Office by Friday, April 15th. Applications that are turned in after the due date will be charged a late fee.

REGISTRATION DATES FOR FALL SEMESTER 2016 CLASSES:
Students please take time to set up an appointment with your advisor prior to the start of fall semester 2016 registration. All students must meet with their advisor to go over their fall schedule and to receive their registration access code. Please check your account for any holds. Holds will prevent you from being able to register for your classes.

Registration dates are as follows:

  • Junior to be seniors & seniors: Monday, April 4, 2016
  • Sophomores to be juniors: Monday, April 11, 2016
  • Freshman to be sophomores: Monday, April 18, 2016

*You must have already completed the following number of credit hours to be considered a:
Senior: 93+, Junior: 62-92, Sophomore: 31-61, Freshman: 0 – 30

CAP AND GOWN/COMMENCEMENT 2016: If you missed Grad Finale and were unable to pick up your cap and gown, please stop by the Registrar’s Office today. If you would like more information about our April 30th Commencement please visit our webpage: https://inside.corban.edu/commencement

GRADUATION PHOTO SHOOT:
Admissions is looking for about 15 graduating seniors to participate in a photo shoot with our talented photographer, Jessica Marple.

When: Tuesday, April 5, 2pm-4pm
Where: Psalm Center
Wear: Your cap and gown for graduation! We want it to look like it’s actual graduation day.

Email rbenham@corban.edu if you are available to be in this photo shoot. The photos will be used in our Admissions recruiting materials for next year!

TUITION REMINDER FROM FINANCIAL SERVICES:

Early Registration for Fall semester opens April 4th. If you have an unpaid balance and are not on a Payment Plan, a registration HOLD is currently on your account.

Statements were sent to your Corban email on March 1st, so take time to find that email, and review your account online.
Tuition Payment Options:

  1. Access your Student Account and make Payments:
  • Go to our Student Information System (SIS) at sis.corban.edu
  • Enter your student ID (use your social security number if you have not yet been issued a student ID or have not accessed your account yet. You will be prompted to change from the SSN to your personal pin.)
  • Instructions on how to access your account and make payments.
  • Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or eCheck at no cost to you.

Library Easter Egg Hunt

March 14-18

The hunt starts after chapel on Monday and goes through close on Friday.

The eggs will be hidden around the library.

They have small prizes in them.

Keep the prize, return the eggs to either desk for next year’s hunt.

There will be 2 golden eggs with cash prizes
