Dental Admission Test (DAT)

The Dental Admission Test covers the natural sciences (biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry), perceptual ability, quantitative reasoning (mathematics), and reading comprehension. Each section is scored on a scale of 1-30.

Items to include under the DAT: 

  • Academic Average – the average of five scores rounded to the nearest whole number: quantitative reasoning, reading comprehension, biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry.
