{"id":561,"date":"2016-10-20T09:58:58","date_gmt":"2016-10-20T16:58:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/corbanblogs.wpengine.com\/clips\/?p=561"},"modified":"2016-10-20T09:58:58","modified_gmt":"2016-10-20T16:58:58","slug":"update-from-the-registrar-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.corban.edu\/clips\/2016\/10\/20\/update-from-the-registrar-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Update from the Registrar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em><u>SPRING SEMESTER REGISTRATION 2017<\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong><em>:\u00a0 It is time to start scheduling appointments with your academic advisor:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All graduating Seniors should already be registered for classes for spring semester 2017.\u00a0 Please check SIS to see if you need to make any changes to your spring schedule.\u00a0 *<strong>Please do this before October 31<sup>st<\/sup><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Students who have holds on their accounts will not be allowed to register.\u00a0 If you have a hold on your account you were contacted via your Corban e-mail by the Registrar\u2019s Office, Student Life or Financial Services.\u00a0 Thank you for taking care of these before the start of registration.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>UPDATED: Registration Dates:\u00a0 Registration will open on<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Non-graduating Seniors &amp; Juniors: Monday, October 31st<\/li>\n<li>Sophomores: Monday, November 7<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Freshman: Monday, November 14<sup>th<\/sup>:\u00a0 All freshmen will receive their new advisor assignments in core group next week.\u00a0 Please wait to schedule an advising appointment until after this time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>*To be considered a:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Senior<\/strong>: you must have completed 93 credits <strong>before<\/strong> the start of fall semester.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior<\/strong>: 62 credits completed <strong>before<\/strong> the start of fall semester<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sophomore<\/strong>: 31 credits completed <strong>before<\/strong> the start of fall semester<\/p>\n<p><strong>Freshman<\/strong>: 0 \u2013 30 credits completed before the start of fall semester<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Withdrawing from a class<\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong><em>?:\u00a0 The last day to withdraw from a class in Friday, October 28<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you need to withdraw from a class, please stop by the Registrar\u2019s Office to pick up a course change card.\u00a0 Once you have the required signatures, please return the form to the Registrar\u2019s Office along with your $10 fee per class withdrawn.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Final High School Due<\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong><em>:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Freshman:\u00a0 If you have not submitted your final high school transcript, please put in a request now to have it sent to the Registrar\u2019s Office at Corban.\u00a0 You will have a hold on your account which will prevent you from being able to register until your transcript has been received in the Registrar\u2019s Office.\u00a0 If you have any questions please stop by the Registrar\u2019s Office between 9 \u2013 4, Monday &#8211;
