Hilltop News fundraiser

The Hilltop News is fundraising to send students to the Evangelical Press Association Convention. This event drives excellence in journalism students, and is where Corban’s students can network with future employers, gain knowledge through workshops, and compete against other Christian university’s in the nation.

Financial Services

The balance of your spring semester tuition is due!

  • Your Student Tuition Account reflects your final balance after Financial Aid. 
  • You are able to pay online at sis.corban.edu. Choose the Billing option to view your account and make a payment using these instructions.

 

Feel free to stop by Financial Services for personal assistance any time Monday through Friday between 9:00 and 4:00.

 

 

Registrar

FROM THE REGISTRAR’S OFFICE:

DROPPING CLASSES:
Students have until Friday, March 11th to withdraw from a class. Please stop by the Registrar’s office to pick up the necessary paperwork and to pay the $10 fee per class dropped.

 GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS 2016: FINAL COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS DUE APRIL 1st!
Graduating Seniors who have taken a class at another college or university, your final official transcripts are due to the Registrar’s Office no later than April 1st. All Reach requirements must be completed by April 1st of the senior year.

 WILL YOU BE GRADUATING December 2016 or May 2017?:
Graduation applications will be available in the Registrar’s Office any time after Monday, March 7, 2016. Completed applications and graduation fees are due by in the Registrar’s Office by Friday, April 15, 2016.

 CAP AND GOWN:

The Barn

Local artist Amanda Smith is hosting a reflective art night at Corban! See her post about the upcoming event:

WHAT: She is hosting reflective/creative painting sessions in the Barn at Corban!

WHO SHOULD COME: Any one interested in creativity building and using art to feed their soul and uncover new knowledge about themselves. Those interested in exploring art as a way of knowing oneself better.

DESCRIPTION: Each session will have a different theme, with prompts to encourage reflection. Layering techniques are used with various mediums and colors. The overarching theme for 2016 is going to be “Story.”

Athletics

Corban Warrior Volleyball Fans:
The volleyball team would appreciate your support in partnering with us to raise funds for the 2016 season. As you know, our strength of schedule helps us prepare for the road to Nationals.  We had the opportunity to compete against some tough teams in 2015, but had to pass because of the expense of travel.  We are asking for your help, enter our raffle to WIN!

The volleyball team is selling raffle tickets $20 each. Your ticket will be entered into a raffle to win:

Music Department

The Corban Music Department presents:

16th Annual Corban Hymn Festival
Hallelujah! He Has Found Me!
February 18 & 19, 7:30 p.m.
First Presbyterian Church
770 Chemeketa St NE, Salem

This year’s Hymn Festival will focus on Christ as our Redeemer. Come join us as we lift Him up through song, scripture and prayer.
This night of worship is free and open to the community, donations will be received.

 

Activities

The 8th annual BreakAway Retreat at the Oregon coast is next week!  The retreat is Friday February 19th 3:30 p.m. – Sunday February 21 1:00 p.m.

GENTLEMEN: There is still room for you to sign up!  Ladies, a waiting list has been created due to the large number of you who signed up. We are excited to spend this time of fellowship with you.
